After the Korean independence, the people worked in Japanese and Chinese Air plane industries and then returned and created the Korean airplane creation organization. Among them, 7 people entered National Guard training in April, 1948 the beginning of the air force.
After this, the air force set up its base by buying L-4, and L-5 planes from the U.S forces and started to recruit airmen, establishing an Air force academy. Through this effort, the Air Force set up an independent Army in October 1, 1949. But after 8 months, the Air force had gone through the Korean War, and now developing faster and now covering the entire Korean Peninsula.
