On September 15, 1948, the government changed the National Guard into army. The Army exhibition shows the entire history from the Taeham Empire troops to restoration army, as well as, the early form of National Guard created under U.S military. In the timetable, you can see the expansion and creation of army troops and medals. On the other side, you can see the change in army uniform, training phases, and the spy equipment from the captured spies after the armistice.
Also displayed is the creation of the reserve army, mission statements for each military occupation specialty, and recreation of the underground tunnel used for attacking the south. The changes in the army equipment and comparison of army quarter in 1960 and 1980 are displayed. Lastly displayed is the equipment created by Korea.
