Korea’s history of overseas troop dispatch is shown here. The Korean government established and sent its forces overseas to once in the unified Shilla, three during koryeo, three during Chosun, and Vietnam, Kuwait, Somalia, Western Sahara, Georgia, India and Pakistan, Angola, Eastern Timor, Afghanistan, and Iraq. The overseas dispatch helped maintain world peace, and establish a good reputation for Korea.
